Could the Gardasil Vaccine be The 'Perfect Storm' ?

The Internet is humming this morning with breaking news of a report presented to the FDA on March 12th, 2010 in relation to safety issues around the HPV vaccines Gardasil and Cervarix.

Six concerned women from around the world have united to bring global attention to the fact that these vaccines are directly responsible for a range of serious adverse reactions in young women, some resulting in death.

It's encouraging that the FDA is actually taking public consultation on this matter, as it would appear that currently there is a very poor system in place to record these reactions, and much has been overlooked.

In light of the research emerging from these women's efforts, from my perspective, of breast cancer prevention strategies, one can only wonder what level of damage has already been inflicted to a group of young, future mothers. Globally, stories are emerging, of young women experiencing an alarming,un-reported until now, range of afflictions, and I suspect we'll be dealing with the fall-out for many years to come.

There's also a very useful site set up by a group of mothers that expands even further on this issue. If you have daughters you are considering giving this vaccine; using it yourself; or know of anyone considering using it, I urge you to read this new information and pass it on.

I believe we are only seeing the tip of what is being touted as a global health disaster, in lag.
